Marathi films interest Vidya Balan more now-a-days

Mumbai -- Vidya Balan who has won accolades for The Dirty Picture is now interested in doing Marathi movies. I want to do Marathi films. There is some great work happening in Marathi cinema. Marathi movies are doing well, she said during the promotional event of Ferrari ki Sawaari in the city on Friday. Vidya always wanted to do a lavani dance and also did so in Ferrari ki Sawaari as an item girl. She wore a dazzling red sari during her performance and also received appreciation by the audience. I always had a dream to do a lavani. But I thought lavani is done only in Marathi films but I was amazed when I got a call from Chopra productions. I was more than happy to do this dance, she said. Her inspiration for the song is actress Madhuri Dixit and Smita Patil.
