Mary Kom director Omung Kumar teams up Rensil D’Silva

Two of the gripping youth targeting filmmakers will collaborate for a cinematic thriller ride pretty soon. Mary Kom director Omung Kumar has confirmed that he is working with writer, producer and director Rensil D’Silva for his next. The project will be a thriller film.

Conforming the shape up, while Omung Kumar accepted the news, he refused divulging any details about it. The filmmaker said that he would only start this project after he wraps up his current project on Sarabjit that goes on floors this October. “I am making a thriller film with Rensil. It’s a completely original story. I loved the idea. Rensil is a good writer. He is still working on it. It’s too early to talk about the film. I will mostly start this project after Sarabjit. It is too early to say if it will happen this year or not,” he said.

The collaboration does come up an interesting prospect for the viewers. However, Rensil hasn’t had a very comfortable box office record lately. After his Kurbaan bombed at the box office, his recent release Ungli couldn’t perform any better either.
