Mithun Chakraborty insists over the top movie promotions are not required

Mumbai -- Veteran actor Mithun Chakraborty, who has been in the film industry for more than 30 years, says he does not favour over the top movie promotions. "Promotions are required but over the top promotions are not required. It is necessary to tell people that a film is releasing. In our times we used to say that so-and-so film is coming through posters and today through you all (media), things have become quicker and faster. I feel doing everything over is not done," Mithun said. The 61-year-old actors latest film Housefull 2 is scheduled to hit theatres April 5. The multi-starrer comedy film, directed by Sajid Khan, also features Rishi Kapoor, Randhir Kapoor, Boman Irani, Akshay Kumar, John Abraham, Riteish Deshmukh, Shreyas Talpade, Asin, Jacqueline Fernandez, Zarine Khan, Shazahn Padamsee.
