Monica Bedi Is Ready To Take Up Movies With Good Scripts

Remember Monica Bedi? Well, some of you may remember the actress, but those who don’t let us tell you that she starred in couple of Hindi movies such as ‘Ek Phool Teen Kante’, Tirchhi Topiwale etc. The actress is remember less for her movies and more for her love life with Abu Salem.

Her relationship with the gangster became the talking and even put her in the middle of controversies. However, the actress has now let go off her past and doesn’t blame anyone for it. When asked about Saleem’s conviction for 1993 Mumbai blast, Monica said, “It’s been 13 years now. I have no connection with anyone, whatsoever. I cannot blame anyone for my past. It was my destiny.”

Though she may not be having many movies in her kitty, but, the actress is busy attending events. “I’ll be attending a yoga festival in Indore next week. I have a keen interest in yoga since it has helped me stay calm during my trying times,” she said.

When asked why she has not been seen in any movie lately, the 41-year-old said that she is waiting for the right script. “I am getting a few offers but I would love to take up meaty roles which coincide with my age. I cannot run around trees any more. I also don’t mind working with new directors or actors, said Monica.

Monica has been a part of reality shows like Bigg Boss, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 3 and Desi Girl.
