WATCH: Mouni Roy Groove To Mere Rashke Kamar

One of Naagin star Mouni Roy’s fan clubs on Instagram has posted a new video in which she swings to the beats of Baadshaho’s Mere Rashke Kamar. The actor makes some really graceful poses and beautiful expression to the song in the clip.

Mouni can be seen in a grey suit, sitting down as she moves her hands to the poetic lyrics of the song. She also wore a pair of silver jhumkis that add to the traditional aesthetic of the video. Because she wore the same kurta to celebrate Raksha Bandhan with her brother on Monday, we assume that is when she shot this video.

Mere Rashke Kamar is a romantic song from Badhsaaho. The film stars Ajay Devgn, Emraan Hashmi, Ileana D’Cruz and Esha Gupta. The song is a reimagination of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan’s original melody.

In another video, Mouni and a young girl dance to Ed Sheeran’s Shape of You. The girl, too small to reach the camera, is picked up by Mouni in the video.

Mouni will star with Akshay Kumar in Gold. “Mouni will be seen in a completely different avatar to suit the era. She will film for 20-25 days in August and is one of the few female characters in the otherwise male-dominated narrative. She will be shooting extensively with Akshay,” a source told Mumbai Mirror.

The actor was first seen in Kyuki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi as Krishna Tulsi. She then played Parvati on Devon Ke Dev Mahadev but became a household name for her role as Shivanya in Naagin.

She recently wrapped up shooting for Naagin 2 and will be seen in new Bigg Boss 10 promo with Salman Khan. She also appeared on several special episodes with of the reality show with him last year.
