My Parents Have No Control Over Me Since I Live Away: Sidharth Malhotra

It’s been just four years that actor Sidharth Malhotra made his Bollywood debut with Karan Johar's film Student of the Year in 2012 and the actor has already a long queue of girls drooling over him. The actor has been every now and then providing fodder to gossip mongers, among which, rumours of him dating her co-star from SOTY, Alia Bhatt, is doing the rounds from quite some time now.

Recently, during an interview, Sid opened up about how his parents react to all these. He said, “My parents have never been that intrusive so, in that aspect, I am lucky. Also, they know that they have no control over me since I live away. So now, my mother knows that ‘beta haath se nikal gaya hai’. They’d rather be friends than being parents. I don’t know if they’re okay with it but then when I say that we are co-stars and we are working together, they do understand. They’re also maturing as I am”.

Rumours of him dating the beautiful actress Alia is not new to gossip mills. However, both the actors have neither denied nor confirmed the news. Only God knows what’s cooking inside his head.
