No Jhalak Dhiklaja This Year?

We had earlier reported about Bigg Boss 11 which is all set to start from September. Since the show will begin a month before, therefore it will be longer than its usual seasons. While this may be happy news for all those who eagerly wait for the show to start, but someone’s gain is other’s loss.

There is sad news for Jhalak Dhiklaja fans as the 10th season of the show will not take place this year due lack of appropriate slots. “Bigg Boss will replace Rohit Shetty’s Khatron Ke Khiladi that is currently on air, so there’s no slot for Jhalak this year,” revealed a source. Salman Khan will return as a host for the show. While it was also announced that he will be soon shooting for the promos, however, no announcement was made regarding Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10.

Moreover, no announcement regarding judges or contestants has been made. Earlier, there were rumours that Sridevi and Govinda were approached as judges for the 10th season of the show, however, it has not been confirmed yet. Jacqueline Fernandez, Karan Johar and Ganesh Hegde judged the last season of the show. Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 9 started in July 2016 and went on till January 2017.
