No Taapsee, no Akshara, makers looking for fresh faces to play Aamir’s daughters in Dangal

While we were perhaps being of the opinion that Aamir Khan’s Dangal will have actresses like Taapsee Pannu and Akshara Haasan in the role of his daughters, we learn that makers are in no mood to cast anyone from the industry. The hunt has been on and the auditions now seem to be going as a never ending process.

According to a leading website report, Nitesh Tiwari(the director) and team have taken auditions of over twenty thousand girls. Since the choice of actors are coming from no filmy background, it is going very hard for the makers to zero in on the cast. A source from film’s unit said, “We have been auditioning but have not been able to zero in on the casting yet.”

It was earlier being speculated that some amongst the young actresses will get the chance to play Aamir’s daughters in the film. The actor plays a wrestler in the film and the story is loosely based on the life of wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat. Well, good luck with the team to cast the girls, better do it soon enough.
