Not Fatima Sana Shaikh, But Katrina Kaif Will Romance Aamir Khan In Thugs Of Hindostan

We all know that Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh have been finalised for Aamir Khan’s Thugs of Hindostan. A few days ago we told you that Fatima will be playing Aamir’s love interest in the movie. Fatima romancing Khan did not go down well among people considering that she played his daughter in Dangal.

But wait. There is a twist in the film. We have now heard that Mr. Perfectionist will not romance Sana but Katrina. Fatima will be seen playing a strong and a raw girl performing actions. She will also be seen doing sword fighting. As the story proceeds, Aamir will fall for Kaif. “The script of TOH required two actresses – a raw, rough and tough Indian girl who is a part of Aamir’s gang of Thugs and in love with his character and a beautiful British lady with whom Aamir’s character falls in love with. While the Indian girl will be played by Fatima, Katrina plays the British girl. Director Vijay Krishna had said that the role of the girl is pivotal to the film and Fatima was a ‘gifted performer of action,” revealed a source.

The director also said that since Fatima’s role will be action oriented, therefore she will be undergoing training to master in sword fighting. Shaikh remained unperturbed by people’s reactions when the news of her playing Aamir’s love interest surfaced. She said that acting doesn’t see any age difference. Further, she said that she is ready to act opposite Shah Rukh Khan if she gets an opportunity.
