Padmavati Set Burnt Down By Vandalisers

Not long ago on January 27^th, Karni Sena activists misbehaved with the crew members of Padmavati in Jaipur and one of them even slapped director Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The activists claimed that the film is distorting the historical facts. The latest in the front is that this of incident has been repeated on the sets of the movie.

Reportedly, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati set has been vandalised again. The incident happened in Kolhapur, when a group of people set the Padmavati sets ablaze. If reports are anything to go by, the group of people did this when the shooting was almost over. While the entire cast was present on the sets, no causality has been found.

The film revolves around Queen Padmavati, her husband Raja Rawal Singh and Delhi ruler Alauddin Khilji who fell in love with the Rajput queen Padmavati. The film features Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor in the lead roles. Reports further added that shooting for the flick is currently being halted.
