Pakistani Singer Gulam Ali Will Perform In Delhi After Cancellation In Mumbai
Updated : April 06, 2016 11:01 AM ISTTwo of Pakistani ghazal singer, Ghulam Ali's concerts were cancelled in Maharashtra after Shiv Sena protested against it. The Shiv Sena warned to disrupt it saying that no artist from that country will be allowed to perform in the city till terror at the Indo-Pak border stops.
But, the Delhi Government doesn’t seem to have the same ideology. AAP members extended an invite to the singer to perform in the national capital.
While the Cultural Minister of Delhi was sad about the cancellation of the concerts in Mumbai and Pune, he went to invite him personally.
Sad that #GhulamAli is not being allowed in Mumbai, I invite him to come to Delhi and do the concert. Music has no boundaries. #BanTheBan
