The film Tanu weds Manu Returns has been at the receiving end of a lot of praises from actors, fans and critics. Apart from Kangana and R Madhavan, one actor who has stood out with his performance is Deepak Dobriyal. The Dabangg 2 actor won many awards in the comic role for Tanu Weds Manu and with his performance in the sequel, looks like he is again up for a lot of awards and appreciation.
“People have shown me so much love, which I never expected. So I am happy," said Deepak, who has earlier been part of movies like Omkara, Not A Love Story, but he feels the Tanu Weds Manu franchise has established him as a character actor, marked for his comic avatar. My role wasn't as challenging as I did the ground work in the last part. All I needed to do was carry my character and I did it”, the Gulaal actor said.
Deepak Dobriyal started his career under eminent theatre director Arvind Gaur. The actor’s first movie was Maqbool. Deepak will be seen in a whole new avatar in upcoming film Prem Ratan Dhan Payo.
