They're Quite Mischievous: Parineeti Chopra On Ajay Devgn And Rohit Shetty's Pranks On Golmaal Set

The sets of Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty’s film can never be boring. Everyone is aware of the pranks that they both play on their fellow cast and crew members on the film’s set. There have been numerous incidences when the two have scared their team members with their hilarious pranks.

Both have played pranks on several actors. Now another actor to fall victim to their prank is none other than Parineeti Chopra, who is new addition to the fourth instalment of ‘Golmaal’. Though Parineeti was aware of the duo’s mischievous act, however the actress was still trapped into it.

The actress said she was shocked to hear that the two plan the pranks before playing it on anyone. Moreover, there is money and time spent on pranks. She further stated that at times the prank goes for a day or two before the victim actually realises that it was a prank. There were several times when Parineeti was played a prank upon. The pranks were so real that she initially believed them to be true before realising that they were just their hilarious tricks. “I think there is a separate prank department in Golmaal,” said the actress.

Talking about the prank that was played on her, the 28-year-old said, “Rohit sir very seriously came and told me, ‘This is the shot that you have to do.’ They were funny movements. I asked him, ‘Sir, do you really want me to do this, it’s not even in my character.’ To which he said, ‘Tu mere se kya character puch rahi hai (You’re asking me the character?)’ Everyone took their cameras out and I was wondering why everyone is taking so much interest in my take today, and I did a really funny movement, after which, the whole set started laughing. I was really very embarrassed.”

Not only the actress, but Shreyas Talpade was also trapped into the duo’s act. Disclosing the prank that was played on Shreyas, Parineeti said, “There was a photoshoot happening, and there were some props kept where I and Shreyas were talking. Suddenly, I saw Ajay sir coming from behind. Usually, I stand up and hug him, but he said, ‘shut up and sit’ and they left crackers behind Shreyas, and he jumped out of his feet and the whole set knew about this story. These people are just not normal, they are mad.”
