Parineeti Chopra Shows Off Her Stretch Marks With Pride In New Pic And Her Fans Are Loving Her For It!

Sometimes, it’s really hard to relate to celebrities. They live a glamourous life, wake up with a fully contoured face, workout without registering sweat patches on their shirts and even seem lose kilos on whim and without any side effects.
So, it’s only a very welcome sight when one of them goes out of their comfort zone to reveal a life closer to ours, like Parineeti Chopra just did. The actor posted a picture on Friday, baring a small part of her waist and revealing two little stretch marks from losing quite a bit of weight in 2015.
While the picture was supposed to focus on her sunglasses, her fans could not help but talk about her stretch marks and praising her for supporting body positivity by not trying to hide them. “The way u showing ur stretch marks.. It’s real u.. Commonly we most of gals have.. N it make us conscious.. But after seeing this pic.. We won’t be..,” a fan of the actor posted in a comment. “Thank you for keeping it real intentional or unintentional but it does means a lot to us when today it’s all about bashing people unnecessarily even for the tiny details and non stop body shaming,” posted another.
Many of her male friends too admired her for the photo. “Stretch marks! Wow! A real woman, I like it,” one wrote on the photo.
Parineeti said Bollywood pressure was the reason she decided to lose weight, something she had wanted to do from a long time “All my life, I have struggled with how I look, how I feel, and how people looked at me. I was constantly made fun of, but the person I was, I generously laughed with them. Today, many people ask me what triggered the weight loss, did I give in to the “bollywood pressure”? To that I say - thank god I became an actor and had that pressure! I am able to achieve what I couldn’t achieve otherwise. I feel more confident, I feel at peace, and I feel proud!,” she wrote in an Instagram post in 2016.
