Parineeti-Diljit In The Remake Of ‘Chameli Ki Shaadi’?

Rumours are doing the rounds that Parineeti Chopra and Diljit Dosanjh have bagged the roles in the remake of superhit romantic comedy, ‘Chameli Ki Shaadi’ (1986). Phantom Films have bought the rights to remake the film. The team is looking forward towards Parineeti and Diljit for the lead roles.

According to Spotboye, both Parineeti and Diljit will step into the roles played by Amrita Singh and Anil Kapoor respectively. Seeing Anil and Amrita was a delight to our eyes, hope Parineeti and Daljit follows the footsteps of their senior. Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment was also planning to remake the flick but Phantom Films won the race.

The shooting schedule has not been decided yet. Parineeti was last seen in ‘Kill Dil’ whereas Diljit was last seen in ‘Udta Punjab’. Way back in 1986, the flick was a block buster at the box office but now we can just wait for the outcome of the remake.
