Police send team to Latur in search of man who made abusive calls to Pooja Bhatt

After Bollywood actor-director Pooja Bhatt wrote about insensitive behaviour of police helpline personnel, whom she had contacted to register a complaint against an abusive caller, on a social networking site, Bandra police sent a team to Latur to hunt for the accused. According toJism 2maker, when she received abusive calls by an unidentified man on Wednesday, she dialled the police helpline number by introducing herself as Pooja Bhatt, the lady cop who took the call talked to her rudely and asked her to go to the nearest police station.

Later she tweeted about the incident and one of her friends suggested her to call on 103 and from there she got Bandra police station’s number. She filed a complaint against an unidentified caller in the afternoon and now a source revealed, "The caller gave his name as Ashish Pandit. A Mumbai police team reached Latur late on Thursday to arrest him and bring him to the city".
