Pooja Bhatt Wants to Document Mahesh Bhatt’s Life on Big Screen

Mahesh Bhatt has sourced ideas from his real life experiences, in movies such as Woh Lamhe, which was partially inspired from his link up with actress Parveen Babi; and recent release Humari Adhuri Kahani, which was roughly based on the life of his parents. Following the trend, the filmmaker’s daughter wants to bring her father’s life on the screen. She told IANS, that she would love to make a documentary on his life, capturing all the ups and downs she has witnessed along with him.

Pooja Bhatt told IANS, “I would love to make a documentary on my father Mahesh Bhatt. What is interesting about Bhatt sahab is that he became more interesting personality after he left work. It is a common perception that filmmaker's life end when he leaves a film set's, but Bhatt sahab proved it wrong”.

She further thinks that a film based on her life wouldn’t be interesting. She said, “A film based on my life would not be as interesting as my father. I have not lived a life as enriching as my father. I have only been observer to his life so I think I'm the best person to make a documentary on him”.
