Pritam to score music for SRK-Rohit Shetty’s next as all’s not well with Vishal-Shekhar

Composers Vishal and Shekhar have apparently parted ways with Shahrukh Khan as they will not be composing music for the next film he’s doing with Rohit Shetty. The duo had last composed music for Rohit and SRK in Chennai Express.

Shahrukh has been working with the Jodi of Vishal-Shekhar since Om Shanti Om. The duo has scored music for his productions like Chennai Express and Happy New Year but the equation seems to be changing now. Rohit and SRK have reportedly signed Pritam for the job. According to a report in a leading website, “An announcement will be made only when the film rolls next month, but Pritam is definitely scoring the music. Things had gone sour between Vishal-Shekhar and Shah Rukh in the past over certain incidents, which may have led the makers to collaborate with Pritam.”

It is being said that Vishal and Shekhar were upset with Yo Yo Honey Singh composing a track Lungi Dance in Chennai Express and said they were kept in dark regarding this. Well if this was the case, why’d they took Shahrukh’s production Happy New Year then?
