Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 Mints Rs 22.40 Crores In 3 Days

Gender stereos in films have been questioned several times in Bollywood but when it comes to Pyar Ka Punchnama series, all is forgotten and the film is seen from a perspective of mere etertainment. That is perhaps the reason why the sequel to the cult classic film has registered amazing numbers at the box office. In just three days, the Luv Ranjan directorial has minted Rs. 22.40 crores.

The film showcasing the never-ending battle of sexes collected Rs. 6.60 crores on Friday, Rs. Rs 7.60 crores on Saturday and Rs. 8 crores on Sunday. The collection at the box office has risen with each passing day. Surprisingly, the collection of the film on the third day i.e. 8 crores is exactly the same figure predicted by the trade pundits.

The audiences have lauded the plot of the film and the treatment given to the persistent relationship issues. Good reviews from audiences are helping gather more footsteps to the cinema halls. PKP 2 is expected to set even higher records in coming weeks.
