Raanjhanaa star Dhanush to share screen space with megastar Amitabh Bachchan in R. Balki's next

It was a remarkable Bollywood debut for Tamil star Dhanush with Raanjhanaa opposite Sonam Kapoor and now he has reportedly signed his next Hindi project with director R. Balki. He is fortunate enough this time as he will be sharing screen space with none other than Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan in the film.

A thrilled Dhanush posted on Twitter, "Yes guys,my next Hindi film is with Balki sir. Very excited and eagerly looking forward to it :) thanks for all your wishes." Dhanush, who was last seen in a Tamil film Mariyaan, further added, "Privileged to share screen space with Big B himself.Ecstatic 2 be part of Raja Sir's musical again. Finally, a chance to work with P.C sir !" In the beginning of this year Big B was all praises for the young actor after he saw Raanjhanaa and also personally called him acknowledging his talent.

The legendary actor wrote on his blog, "It was a delight. I get so envious after seeing all these wonderful films, and lament and regret that I am not in them, even in a small capacity, for I love the immense talent and finesse that todays cinema with its young brigade brings to the world.” The yet-to-be-titled project is supposed to undergo production in 2014 and as reports reveal Dhanush will be pairing up opposite Kamal Haasan's younger daughter Akshara in the film. While Tamil music composer Ilaiyaraaja will be composing the music for the film, P.C. Sreeram has been roped in by the director for cinematography. R. Balki and Big B have previously worked together in films like Cheeni Kum and Paa. Dhanush has one more Bollywood project in the queue with director Aanand Rai once again.
