Rajkummar Rao Continued Shooting Despite Being Injured!

Who don’t know about Rajkummar Rao’s hard work he puts in every role he takes up? If one doesn’t know, here is another example of his dedication. The National Award winner continued shooting for Vikramaditya Motwane’s ‘Trapped’ even after he got himself injured just to give a real look to the important scene. Isn’t that amazing?

The film, which was screened at Mumbai Film Festival on October 26 last year, saw its trailer receiving positive reviews from the audience. According to Rao, the experience of working in the film was satisfying as well as physically exhausting. Describing about how he injured himself, Rao said, “I had to pull something off with great effort in a scene. In the second take, I exerted more pressure than required and that resulted in a severe muscle pull.”

Vikramaditya Motwane felt that the incident will do the required justice to the sequence, so he retained it. As for Rajkummar, he continued shooting despite being in pain. The Citylights actor went to a doctor only after completing shooting. “I visited a doctor only later in the day of the accident. I took medicines and continued shooting. I survived on painkillers for two days,” Rao added.

‘Trapped’ will be releasing on March 17.
