Rajkummar Rao Transforms His Look For Bose
Updated : July 05, 2017 05:27 PM ISTActor Rajkummar Rao has been applauded for his performance in multiple films but his latest look for the upcoming film, Bose, has taken him to the next level of method acting.
The actor posted a collage online, showing his change in physique in the last two films — Trapped and Behen Hogi Teri, and the upcoming web series Bose. What caught our attention was Rajkummar’s surprising change from a chiseled body to a paunch and an evident weight gain.
Rajkummar posted the picture and captioned it, “Building a character. Nothing gives me more high than the process of exploring someone else’s life on screen.”

Directed by Hansal Mehta, the series will be based on life of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose.
Rajkummar has also gone half bald for the same web series, which was the test look of the film. He had revealed in an earlier interview that he is nervous about playing the freedom fighter. “He is a national figure, people love him, I love him. It is very exciting. It’s a web series. But the process is the same, no matter if it’s a web or a feature film. I’ve started reading and researching about it.”
