Rajumar Hirani is the best director in India! A close enough call

With movies to his credit taking him a notch high up, with a cinematic sensibility far ahead of the erstwhile, with skills as prized as any for an audience, Rajukumar Hirani is arguably the best director in the country. The PK team has been singing the same tune over and over again. But that’s just not it, most members of the fraternity second the same thought and consider the filmmaker to be the best.

While promoting their film PK in Hyderabad, Aamir Khan had some rather appreaciating words for Raju. “Raju Hirani is the best director and PK is his best work to date. He is one director I have had most fun working with,” he said. Even Vidhu Vinod Chopra who has produced all Raju Hirani films so far had the same messages to convey. Abhijat Joshi who writes along with Raju said, “He has a vision far ahead of anybody else. Though I never like to speak too early about anything but PK is the best film that Raju has made. He is simply the best.” Anushka Sharma, the female lead also spoke on the same track.

But, just to wait and wonder what these thoughts convey has a larger meaning. The director has earned much praises than anybody else in the country. Without divulging in the crowd of backing films as a producer, Raju has remained honest to his work. After the blockbuster 3 Idiots, he gave all his time to write PK and potentially came up with something much to applaud. However, to validate this statement if he’s indeed the best, we’re soon going to have better grounds to argue. Two more weeks may be!
