Ranbir Kapoor helps cousin Armaan Jain bag Lekar Hum Deewana Dil?

Lekar Hum Deewana Dil’s official trailer is a superhit among movie buffs and half of the credit goes to Barfi! star Ranbir Kapoor as well. We can say so because it has been learnt that it’s Ranbir who helped his cousin Armaan, Raj Kapoor’s grandson, land his hands upon the film.

Imtiaz Ali’s brother Arif Ali, director of Lekar Hum Deewana Dil, was looking for a fresh face for this GenNext love story. Ranbir, who is quite close to Imtiaz, listened to the script and recommended Armaan for the role as he thought him to be perfect for the same. Thus Armaan will always be thankful to Ranbir for his Bollywood debut. It has been learnt that Ranbir was so confident about Armaan for the particular role that he gave all his details to the director.

Thereafter whatever happened was destined to happen as Armaan signed the deal to enact Dino in Lekar Hum Deewana Dil. Armaan’s luck is really favourable as none other than his brother-in-law Saif Ali Khan has taken the responsibility to launch him. Armaan has already impressed the industry biggies in the trailer. Karan Johar tweeted, “#lekarhumdeewanadil looks like an extremely charming and new age love story..with a STAR in the waiting...#ArmaanJain”. Actress Deepika Padukone also tweeted that she liked the trailer too.
