Ranbir Kapoor’s Sanjay Dutt Biopic Postponed To Next Year

Ranbir Kapoor’s fans are on their tenterhooks to watch his upcoming movie which is a biopic on Sanjay Dutt. They have been impatiently waiting for the movie to release soon after looking at Ranbir’s uncanny resemblance to the ‘Munna Bhai’ actor. However, movie let them down after hearing the rumours that the film has been postponed to next year.

And now it has been confirmed that the movie’s release date has been pushed to March 30 next year. One of the trade analysts took to his Twitter account and posted, “#BreakingNews: Sanjay Dutt biopic to release on 30 March 2018... Rajkumar Hirani directs... Stars Ranbir Kapoor... NOTE: Not titled yet.” The flick was earlier scheduled to release on December 22 this year, the date when Salman Khan-Katrina Kaif starrer ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ is releasing.

Apart from Ranbir Kapoor, the biopic will star Manisha Koirala, Paresh Rawal, Sonam Kapor, Dia Mirza, Anushka Sharma and Karishma Tanna. The flick will depict Sanjay’s relationship with his father Sunil Dutt. Actor Paresh Rawal will be playing his father, while Manisha Koirala will be essaying the role of his mother.
