Ranveer Singh’s Deodorant helps Him Prepare for Bajirao Mastani

Actors do a lot of things to get into the skin of their character, but this is something new. Ranveer Singh recently confessed that he uses a particular deodorant to get into the mood for his character in upcoming flick Bajirao Mastani. The Dil Dhadakne Do star is essaying the role of Maratha Peshwa Bajirao in the movie.

Sharing the secret with TOI, the Lootera star said, “I read somewhere that Vidya Balan decides upon a fragrance for a particular character and every time she is playing it, she puts on the same fragrance. I started doing that too. You can call it physiological or psychological, call it what you want, but what happens is that when you put on that perfume in the morning, suddenly your senses start reacting to that smell and you get into the zone so to speak. I started doing this at the time ofLootera, then I had one for Kabir Mehra for Dil Dhadakne Do and now I have one for Bajirao”.

It is also said that the Ranveer’s spot boy used to follow him with the bottle of perfume on the sets. With every make-up touch up, the Gunday star would sprinkle more perfume. Besides Ranveer, this Sanjay Leela Bhansali production also stars Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone in lead roles. The film is scheduled to release on December 18.
