But what did Ranveer Singh do that Raza Murad slapped him not just once but 24 times?

Well as grave as the question might look, the answer is actually very simple! It was for their upcoming film Padmavati that Ranveer Singh was slapped!

Yes, you read that right. Well, while filming for Padmavati, there is a part where Raza Murad's character had to slap Alauddin Khalji, played by Ranveer. But being the perfectionist that director Sanjay Leela Bhansali is, he made the actors retake the scene again and again till it looked absolutely flawless. It was only after 24 times that the shot was OKed. 

Poor Ranveer Singh! 24 slaps might have been too hard on him! But we hope that the success of the film will definitely compensate for all the pains!
