Reaching out to his Global audience, SRK releases the ‘Slam’ promo

While it was already known that Shahrukh Khan will go all out to promote his home production Happy New Year, the strategized Promotional World Tour’s ‘Slam’ promo was released on Twitter by the actor.

King Khan has planned a promotional world tour for Happy New Year where the cast along with the director would perform on stage in different cities of the world. SRK has always put efforts to promote his films and with Happy New Year being his home production, the actor wants to make it big in Overseas. The promotional tour has been planned in accordance with its reach to the global audiences and SRK fans abroad. The stage tour will have Shahrukh, Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Boman Irani, Sonu Sood and Taaha Shah along with Farah Khan. Singer Yo Yo Honey Singh and Kanika Kapoor of Baby Doll fame have also been roped in to be a part of the tour. Malaika Arora Khan will be a special performer for the event.

The tour will kick start on September 19 at Toyota Centre in Houston and will then follow in New Jersey’s Continental Arena, Toronto’s Air Canada Center, Chicago’s Sears Center Arena and Vancouver’s Pacific National Exhibition. The tour would end on September 28th with its last show at SAP Center in San Jose, California.

Shahrukh in a statement thanked all his fans for showing enthusiasm for this ‘one of its kind high profile world tour’. "I am blessed to get a lot of love and support from people around the world. This is our way of giving this love back and thanking you all (sic)," he said. Happy New Year releases this Diwali and its first look will be out by Independence Day.
