BREAKING: Akshay Kumar And Rajinikanth's ‘2.0’ Postponed; Avoids Clash With Ajay Devgn And Aamir Khan!

Rajinikanth fans, now you have to wait to wait for some more time to watch your favourite superstar’s most awaited movie. If you are thinking about '2.o', then you are absolutely right. The release date of megastar’s forthcoming Tamil science-fiction action drama has been postponed to January 25 next year. We had earlier reported that the film was scheduled to hit the screens on Diwali this year.

"Our most ambitious project, Shankar's '2.o' shifts to January 25, 2018. It moves from earlier Diwali release to achieve world class standards in VFX," tweeted Raju Mahalingam, COO, Lyca Productions, the makers of '2.o'. The movie is a sequel to Rajinikanth's ‘Enthiran’ which was a Tamil blockbuster of 2010.

In the movie, Thalaivar will be seen playing double roles- one of a scientist and other of a robot. The film marks actor Akshay Kumar’s debut in Tamil cinema in which he will be essaying the role of an antagonist. Besides these two top actors, the movie also features Amy Jackson, Sudhanshu Pandey and Adil Hussain in prominent roles.
