Richa Chadda Talks About Cabaret Role

‘Tamanchey’ actress Richa Chadda is known for her versatility and adaptability which will once again come to light in her upcoming films ‘Sarbjit’ and ‘Cabaret’. She will be playing a simple farmer’s wife in the former while in the latter, she will essay the role of a cabaret dancer. The actress recently stated that there is a certain risk in glamorous roles.

Richa shared, “People liked the Cabaret teaser which is quite unexpected. Many wished me luck on Twitter. The role is quite interesting. However, I feel playing a glamorous role is risky for me”. Talking about the teaser, the actress added, “The teaser has crossed more than two million views on YouTube within just two days of hitting the social media. Moreover, we are not promoting the teaser. The response is spontaneous which is amazing. Organic hits are tough to get”.

The actress wants to spread her wings in something other than acting. She has come up with a short film but has not got the opportunity to develop it further. Pooja Bhatt's ‘Cabaret’ will be released on May 6 while Omung Kumar’s ‘Sarbjit’ will hit the screens on May 20.
