Rohit Shetty Confirms Not Working With Shahid In His Next

Golmaal: Unlimited fame filmmaker Rohit Shetty denies the reports of casting actor Shahid Kapoor for a project. Rumors have been the Dilwale director will team up with the Haider star. Rohit while talking to PTI cleared the reports.

According to reports Rohit said, “No, I am not working with Shahid. I don't know where these reports are coming from. We have just met once. And there is no project we are working on together right now”.

Reportedly, the 41-year-old director will start working for his next project, in 2016. He is planning to remake the of 1989 superhit Subhash Ghai directorial Ram Lakhan featuring actors Anil Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Madhuri Dixit, Dimple Kapadia and Raakhee. “I will start working on the script of Ram Lakhan in January. Then we will see how it goes”, Rohit said.

The director has delivered superhits with Ajay Devgn, they have worked together in Golmaal and Singham series. But, Rohit’s last two was with superstar Shah Rukh Khan namely, Chennai Express and Dilwale. The director obsessed with playing cars in the movie soon plans to reunite with his lucky mascot, Ajay. “Ajay is currently busy with 'Shivaay' and I will be doing 'Ram Lakhan' so I hope to work with him after both of us are done with our respective project”, he said.
