Ronit Roy To Make His Hollywood Debut With The Field

Udaan star Ronit Roy has been roped in for a Hollywood project titled The Field. The movie will be directed by Rohit Karn Batra and will feature Radhika Apte and Neeraj Kabi as well. Ronit has proved his mettle on the big screen as well as the small screen and will now have a chance to perform at an international platform.

Ronit confirmed, “I begin shooting in April. It is a period film portraying old Delhi, but it has a very international flavour”. He will be playing the role of an elder brother in the film that is being touted as a mafia thriller. The actor added, “I accepted the role because it’s a very interesting character that is part of a great story. Rohit (director) has been living with the script since quite a few years. His conviction in the script has also helped me make a decision to do it”.

Ronit also praised his co-star Radhika and stated that this will be their first venture together. He feels that the actress is “immensely talented” and will breathe new life into her character. Rohit Karn Batra will also be producing the film and is known for his short films Goggles and Roundabout.
