Sabbir Khan Reveals Why He Turned Down Directing Baaghi 2

Director Sabbir Khan recently revealed that he was also offered Baaghi 2 . He had launched Tiger Shroff with Heropanti and later made the film Baaghi. The director revealed that he was more excited about making Munna Michael than working on the sequel of Baaghi.

Sabbir said, “The sequel was offered to me immediately after Baaghi, but Tiger and I were more excited about Munna Michael, and wanted to jump to it. The makers of Baaghi 2 couldn’t wait for me to finish Munna Michael, and then work on this one. So it’s completely fair. I just couldn’t do it; that’s about it”.

The director also talked about the fresh pairing of Tiger and Disha Patani in Baaghi 2. He said that people would be more interested to see someone they perceive as a real life couple. And he is confident that Tiger and Disha’s pair will create some magic onscreen. Talking about the failure of Munna Michael, he said that it was due to GST.
