After playing the love interest of newbie Diana Penty inCocktail, it’s time again for Saif Ali Khan to romance a beautiful young girl who has just started her journey in Bollywood. And it has been heard that this time the lucky girl is Ileana ‘Shruti Ghosh’ D’Cruz, who has rose to stardom with Anurag Basu’sBarfi!, which also helped her bag the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut.

The 42-year-old actor has been in headlines sinceGo Goa Gonetrailers and music have been widely accepted by his audience because of its unique ‘zombie’ concept. It was reported earlier that the actor has been approached byGo Goa Gonedirectors Raj Nidimoru and Krishna D.K. for their next romantic flick and Saif has given a nod for the same. According to a source, “It was during the making of Go Goa Gone that directors Raj and DK had spoken about their next project. Saif loved the idea of a romantic film.”

It has also been heard that the shooting schedule for the romantic film has been planned by the crew. The source added more, “It will be shot in the USA and Saif agreed to produce the film under his banner. However the leading girl was not finalised and everyone at the production house was of the opinion that they needed a fresh pair with Saif after Cocktail. The audience had loved Diana Penty with Saif. One of the crewmembers suggested Ileana’s name.” Let’s hope that the deal comes out final so that we get an opportunity to watch out a brand new on-screen chemistry between Saif-Ileana.
