Saif Ali Khan visits hometown to preside in cricket series named after his father

Bhopal - The Nawab of Pataudi, Saif Ali Khan, visited his ancestral hometown Bhopal with mother and veteran Bollywood actress Sharmila Tagore to preside in the final of a cricket tournament, which has been recently renamed after his late father Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, organizers said. According to tournament organizer Hamidullah Khan, the mother and son had arrived in the city on Saturday itself to attend the 36th edition of the Iftekhar Memorial Invitation Cricket tournament that has been renamed as Ifteker Memorial Tiger trophy. This is the first occasion when the duo has visited the city together and this is being seen as an attempt to establish a connection with the local people after the death of Mansoor Ali Khan.
