Is Salman Khan Miffed with Anees Bazmee?

As per the Bollywood calendar, 2015 and 2016 are truly going to be the years of clashes! Dilwale and Bajirao Mastani of SRK and Sanjay Leela Bhansali respectively will clash on this Christmas, while next year on Eid, Shah Rukh and Salman will clash with their Raees and Sultan respectively. Now we hear of another unexpected and unscheduled clash that will take place between biggies on September 4 when remake of Subhash Ghai’s Hero, produced by Salman Khan and directed by Nikhil Advani, will take on Anees Bazmee’s Welcome Back. This clash is happening despite the announcement of date by Salman on Twitter with the words “Back Off”.

Reportedly, Salman Khan is very pissed off with Anees Bazmee and feels that he should have restrained from declaring the same date for the release of his movie. However, as per sources, Anees has another story to tell, “We had no idea about Salman Bhai’s plans. After we heard that Vikas Bahl’s Shaandaar was being postponed, we quickly moved in. We had been on the lookout for a window for our film. We checked to see if any other film was moving into the vacated September 4 slot. We were not aware of Salman Bhai’s plans until we saw his tweet announcing Hero”. The director further added, “Hero and Welcome Back are very different films. I feel there is room for both”.

Release dates of both the movies have already been postponed five times in past six months. Both of them were moved ahead after September 4 slot got vacated. It will be very interesting to see which film out of the two will actually “Back Off”.
