Salman Khan tweets for wishing filmmaker Subhash Ghai for his Kaanchi

The acclaimed filmmaker of Bollywood, Subhash Ghai, has received immense positive reviews regarding the trailer of his upcoming film Kaanchi and Salman Khan is one of those impressed lot. The superstar took to his Twitter page to wish good fortune to the filmmaker for his film.

Salman posted, “Saw the promo of kanchi ? Quiet nice na? Happy fr S G, its beautifully shot, Hope it does well. Best of luck S G .” Salman has been well-known for his helping attitude towards his industry friends and colleagues and last year he also promoted Aamir Khan’s Dhoom3 on his popular television show, Bigg Boss. Now Salman has already done a bit of promoting Ghai’s Kaanchi and it’s believed that his fans will certainly go for the film once it hits the theatres on April 25. The film stars Pyaar Ka Punchnama actor Kartik Tiwari and debutante Indrani Chakraborty who is known by her stage name, Mishti.

The first stills of Kaanchi, which have been just released, are said to have a remarkable resemblance to Ghai’s previous blockbuster Taal, considering the film’s locales and the look on a whole. Kaanchi has been shot in the hills and it is a love story set in the backdrop of a rebellion. Kaanchi tells the tale of a woman who represents the youth who have suppressed their anger against injustice for a long time. The film also features Mithun Chakraborty as a corrupt politician, Rishi Kapoor, Adil Hussain and Chandan Roy Sanyal. Rishi and Ghai have worked together in this film after a long time following their 1980-film Karz. The music for the film has been composed by Salim-Sulaiman and Ismail Darbar.
