Sanjay Dutt, John Abraham To Be Seen In Sequel Of Anubhav Sinha's 'Dus'

Filmmaker Anubhav Sinha has long been planning to make the sequel to his 2005 action spy thriller film, ‘Dus’. The sequel, reportedly titled ‘Gyarah', is expected to go on floors by early 2017. Recently, a popular trade magazine revealed that the flick might star John Abraham along with Sanjay Dutt. The two have also shared screen space in 'Zinda' (2006) and 'Desi Boyz' (2011).

‘Dus’ was a hit and reportedly raked in Rs 5,00,00,000 in Mumbai alone. Sanjay, who was also a part of the first part, would reportedly reprise his character in the sequel. Sources also suggest that ‘Commando: A One Man Army’ fame action star Vidyut Jamwal is also in talks with the makers to be a part of the movie.

The sequel is expected to be an espionage thriller set on the background of smuggling mafia and their menace across the globe. The first part was was bankrolled by Nitin Manmohan and starred Sunil Shetty, Abhishek Bachchan, Shilpa Shetty, Zayed Khan and Esha Deol, along with Sanjay, in lead roles. Let’s wait to see whether the second installment goes on to become a commercial and critical success - as was ‘Dus’ - at the box office.
