Satyagraha gets a new release date, August 30

It has been officially announced that the upcoming socio-drama by crucially acclaimed filmmaker Prakash Jha, Satyagraha will open in the theatres on August 30. The announcement has been made by Jha himself alongside UTV Motion Pictures.

Satyagraha enjoys an impressive ensemble cast of Amitabh Bachchan, Ajay Devgan, Kareena Kapoor, Arjun Rampal, Manoj Bajpai and Amrita Raoamong many others. Director Jha said in a statement,"August is a very crowded month with three big movies releasing back to back. We have a two-weeks clear window now for Satyagraha and all three much awaited movies in August will get their due breathing space.” The other two Bollywood biggies to be released in August are Shah Rukh Khan-Deepika Padukone starrer Chennai Express (August 8) and Milan Luthria's Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Dobara (August 15). Hence a fully jammed filmy month of August is in the queue.
