Security the biggest concern for Kick team
Updated : July 07, 2014 04:31 PM ISTBrace yourselves as you are going to see Salman Khan running, fighting, stunting on the real streets of Delhi and other places. The latest fact that has been learnt about Kick is that the makers had a reserve budget of 5 percent only for security.
Apart from the already heavily budgeted areas of the film that included production and promotion cost, 5 percent was for security. With Salman Khan involved, the makers didn’t want to take any chances regarding the security, therefore a lot of extra security officials were hired. It is reported that in a sequence which involved Salman on the streets of Delhi had as many as 500 security guards while indoor shoots had about 100. The director wanted the real locations to be filmed in the movie therefore extra security budget had to be allotted. Talking on this deal, Sajid said “We did not want to compromise on the locations so even if that came with a huge cost involved, it was worth it. In old Delhi, we have shot on streets where it is difficult to even walk. All in all it was a different experience for me to shoot with thousands of fans surrounding the set.” The film is set to release on July 25th and also stars Jacqueline Fernandez, Randeep Hooda and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in prominent roles.
