Shah Rukh Khan, who received an honorary membership of the Jodhpur Tourist guide Association on Friday in Jodhpur, took to his new job in Mehrangarh Fort in the city.

The actor was bestowed with an honorary membership by the guide association for his portrayal of a guide in his upcoming film Jab Harry met Sejal. The Association was grateful as SRK accepted the membership and even changed his itinerary to visit them.

Shah Rukh was headed to Jaipur on a promotional tour for Jab Harry met Sejal when he made alterations to ensure he could accept the membership and meet guides at the association in Jodhpur.

The actor took to his social media account to share moments from his tour, he said, “Taking my job as a guide seriously…started with a tour of Mehrangarh Fort one of the largest in India. Khamma Ghani”

Shah Rukh took no time to get into the skin of a Rajasthani guide as he went on to visit one of the largest forts in Rajasthan donning a pagadi and greeting his tourists saying, “Khamma Ghani”.

The actor posted about the same on his Twitter handle saying, “Ma Ma main Guide ban gaya (honorary) Jodhpur Tourism Guide Assoc Thx for making Harry a part of ur family.”

Shah Rukh Khan would be bringing back to celluloid the portrayal of a guide, nearly after 52 years since Dev Anand’s iconic film, Guide.

Imtiaz Ali’s upcoming directorial venture will see Shah Rukh Khan aka Harry guiding Anushka Sharma aka Sejal through the picturesque locations of Europe.

Presented by Red Chillies Entertainment, Jab Harry met Sejal is directed by Imtiaz Ali. The film is all set to release on August 4.
