Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Raees’ Trailer Will Be Unveiled On This Special Day
Updated : October 06, 2016 10:35 AM IST Shah Rukh Khan’s fans have long been eagerly waiting to know what their idol has stored in for them in his next, much-anticipated flick ‘Raees’. And simultaneously, the actor’s well-wishers have also been looking forward for November 2, the day the ultimate Baadshah of Bollywood was born. Guessing why we are connecting ‘Raees’ and Shah Rukh’s birthday? Well, it might interest Shah Rukh’s followers to know that the trailer of the upcoming action thriller will be revealed on his birthday.
Earlier, it was reported that the trailer of ‘Raees’ would be attached to Karan Johar's ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ and that of Hrithik Roshan's ‘Kaabil’ (which is scheduled to clash with ‘Raees’ on January 26, next year) would be attached to Ajay Devgn's ‘Shivaay’. However, a source informed a popular daily, “SRK and co-producer Ritesh Sidhwani do not want any comparisons made with any other film. So, they will release their trailer a few days after Kaabil. But the bigger worry for SRK isn’t Kaabil as much as it is the trailer of Aamir Khan’s Dangal (also out on Diwali)”.

“Not just that, Aamir will also release the trailer a few days before Diwali, so there is double the buzz. Shah Rukh wants the hype around those two trailers to end before he releases his film’s trailer the week after. He will screen the trailer for the media in the day, release it on social media after that and at night, his close friends will get to watch it at his birthday bash at his residence, Mannat”, the source added.
The source also went on to say that the producers of ‘Raees’ are worried about the movie’s release on January 26 but their publicity and promotions are on track. The movie stars Pakistani actress Mahira Khan as the female lead. But, she won’t be seen promoting the event owing to the recent ban on Pakistani actors which came on the heels of the Uri attack.
