Shahid Kapoor to host IIFA 2012

Mumbai -- Bollywood star Shahid Kapoor is going to host this years IIFA Awards in place of actors Boman Irani and Ritesh Deshmukh, who have been hosting the event for the last four years, according to reports. The 13th edition of the 3-day International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) awards is being held in Singapore this year from June 7. Shahid had earlier performed at the event in 2004 and 2005 in the cities of Singapore and Amsterdam, respectively. The award ceremony will also see the World Premiere of Kalki, Emraan Hashmi and Abhay Deol starrer Shanghai this time.
