Shahid Kapoor To Show Off His Abs In Padmavati

After crossing all the hurdles in its path, finally Padmavati has hit the floors and Shahid Kapoor even finished shooting for its first schedule. Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus will be based on Queen Padmavati, played by the drop dead beauty Deepika Padukone. While Shahid plays Deepika’s husband in the film, Ranveer Singh will be playing an antagonist, Alauddin Khilji, for the first time.

We earlier heard that there will be love making scenes or even kissing scenes between Deepika and Shahid but there is something that would make the Kaminey actor’s fans go gaga over him. If reports are to be believed, Shahid has several topless scenes in the film. Girls are already going week in their knees. A source was quoted saying, “He has several shirtless sequences in the film and takes off his sweatshirt before the cameras roll.”

The actor also took sword fighting and horse riding classes for the film. Padmavati is grabbing headlines even before the shoot hit the floors, thanks to its budget issues and the rift between its star cast. Bhansali is known for making larger than life films on a gigantic scale and Padmavati is no different.
