Shahid Azmi was later murdered as he continued defending innocent people, arrested in wrong cases. Hansal wants a road on Azmi’s name so that his courage to fight for human rights doesn’t go waste, "I really want this to happen. It will be a fitting tribute to a hero of Mumbai." The film is co-produced by Anurag Kashyap and Sunil Bohra. The film stars Rajkumar Yadav, Tigmanshu Dhulia, Prabal Panjabi and Kay Kay Menon in pivotal roles.
