Shekhar Kapur-A R Rahman launch talent hunt social media forum

Internationally-acclaimed creative geniuses, Shekhar Kapur and A R Rahman, have united with technology major Cisco to launch a social media platform Qyuki, which is an online equivalent of talent hunt programmes likeIndia's Got Talent. On Qyuki anybody can upload a content created by them and others on the platform can then rate and comment about them. The creators can also get professional help from Qyuki staff and other experts -- like writer Chetan Bhagat, film maker Imtiaz Ali, music director Ranjit Barot or photographer Suresh Natarajan -- to take their talents forward. "There is so much imagination potential at the bottom of the class pyramid in India. If India is to grow, we have to provoke it (the imagination), bring it out," Shekhar Kapur said. Rahman said the platform could in time enable India to take the leadership in the future of art forms.
