Shekhar Kapur Writing Sequel To 1983 Cult Hit Masoom?
Updated : April 06, 2016 11:01 AM IST Grapevine is abuzz that 1983 cult hit film starring Naseeruddin Shah, Shabana Azmi and Jugal Hansraj in lead roles, Masoom, which was based on Erich Segal’s novel ‘Man, Woman and Child’ has a sequel in making. The rumours are rife that Shekhar Kapur who made his directorial debut with this classic film is writing a sequel. If the rumours are true, the audiences are certainly waiting to rehash the old memories with yet another smash hit.
Mid-day quoted a source as saying, “When Kapur visited a city college last year, several students requested him to make Masoom's sequel. After giving it some thought, he decided to develop a script. He even tweeted about his intentions to make the sequel”.

Another source close to the director revealed, “The scripting is underway; nothing else has been finalised so far. An official announcement only after the casting and other logistics are worked out”. The audiences are eagerly waiting for the official announcement of the same.
