SHOCKING: Actress Mona Vasu molested on streets of Mumbai

Actress Mona Vasu who featured in Sanjay Tripathy’s Club 60, recently had a horrific experience as she became a victim of molestation in Mumbai. The actress was returning to her home at Madh Island from Versova at about 11:45 pm on Wednesday night when a man groped her.

“I was about to get into the jetty when this man touched me inappropriately and just walked away as if nothing had happened”, Mona said. However, the courageous lady didn’t leave that guy but chased him and got him by his collar. “I ran after him, beat him and took him to the police station. It took me two hours to register the complaint, but the police then safely dropped me back home”, informs the brave actress.

Mona, who was last seen in Anurag Kashyap's TV show Yudh, says, “I’m always alert and keep a pepper spray and compass with me. As an independent woman, I value my freedom. Some say travelling late at night is not safe, but then such incidents happen in the morning too”. The actress not only lodged an FIR against the accused, but also ensured that the man is put behind the bars. With such a fearless act, she has become an inspiration to one and all.
