Shraddha Kapoor Wishes She Could Meet The Real Haseena Parkar

Half Girlfriend actress Shraddha Kapoor will next be seen in quite a different role in relation to the movies she has previously done. She will be portraying Haseena Parkar, the infamous sister of Mumbai’s gangster Dawood Ibrahim, in the film ‘Haseena Parkar’. Initially, the flick was titled ‘Haseena: Queen Of Mumbai’ but the filmmakers found ‘Haseen Parker’ to be more befitting.

When asked if she ever met Haseena Parker in real life, Shraddha said, “I wish I could meet her and imbibe those characteristics in my performance through my character, but director Apoorva Lakhia has met her several times, he explained her character to me”. Talking about her role, the actress also shared that it was quite taxing to portray Haseena.

Shraddha was dubbing for her film ‘Half Girlfriend’ simultaneously while shooting for ‘Haseena Parker’ but, director of the former, Mohit Suri, asked her to return back home. The Apoorva Lakhia directorial will hit the screens on August 28. Also, the actress will be sharing screen space with real life brother Siddhanth Kapoor who will portray Dawood Ibrahim in the film.
