Sidharth Malhotra-Katrina Kaif pairing officially confirmed

While we had earlier speculated about Sidharth Malhotra and Katrina Kaif coming onboard for a project together, the development has officially been confirmed. The two actors will pair opposite each other. The project will be produced by Excel Entertainemnt.

While the film will be directed by Nitya Mehra, who has been a long term assistant to Farhan Akhtar, Farhan’s very own Excel has come forward to produce the film. The pairing is unique in its own way with Katrina coming opposite Sidharth who is about 8 years junior to him in the industry. According to reports, Nitya was earlier trying to get Hrithik and later Aamir for the role but it eventually landed to Sidharth Malhotra.

The film is reportedly a romantic comedy where the leading pair will be seen romancing in a new style. The film is expected to go on floors by the end of this year. Meanwhile, both actors are busy wrapping up their respective projects.
